Brian, Julianna and I had such a wonderful week off, I don't even know where to begin. We went to the beach, the pool, the boardwalk, shopping, sunset dinners on the bay, breakfasts on our balcony watching the boats in the inlet. Julianna saw & loved the geese, seagulls, ducks, & fishies! She went on the rides at the boardwalk and couldn't get enough! We ate ice cream every day without a care in the world! I ate crab cakes or crab legs every night! Yumm! Julianna asks every 5 minutes now if we're going to the beach to the pool or on the rides?!
We normally go to the Outer Banks (NC) on vacation, so this was a change for us. Ocean City, Maryland was a little busy for our liking, however we loved the condo and the quiet complex we stayed in on the north side. It was away from the annoying & overcrowded loud stuff. We will return for sure.
Here are a few pictures from my Iphone from the past week ...
Sunset from one of the bay front restaurants at night
Julianna loves her new back pack (she calls it Dat-Dat)
View from our condo out to the inlet & bay - loved it!
Julianna loved the rides on the boardwalk!
Especially the fire engine ride!
Playing on the floor with Pepper (yes, Pepper comes with us on all our vacations!)
At the beach .... in our beach lean-to tent
Some sad news... my Canon SLR camera was dropped accidentally and my new 18-200mm lens was slightly bent on the very end, enough to make the filter shatter (but thank goodness the lens was not damaged), but the filter 'rim' is stuck on the lens, it can't be unscrewed. I am going to call Canon to see how to get this fixed. I hope I don't have to send it out... but I do need to get that little part un-bent and the broken filter taken off. Bummer man! Cross your fingers it's a cheap fix and it CAN be fixed. Luckily the lens was not damaged mechanically... so at least it's ok in that respect.
That's all for now... soon I'll be posting pics from vacation from my camera...
Yay, WELCOME BACK! I'm glad you had such a wonderful vacation and you are well rested! Pictures are beautiful; can't wait to see more! I hope your lens is okay. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed that it can be fixed without breaking the bank :o)
