As I mentioned in my first Mother's Day post, we had brunch at the same place we got married.
We got married on this walkway and gazebo that Julianna is walking on! Pretty cool huh?!

I think this is a butterfly bush... there were butterflies everywhere! My favorite!
This was a Pileated Woodpecker that was on a tree stump on my front lawn by the road - He was pecking away for a long time at this rotted stump - must be some good bugs in there!
We see these a lot by me, but they usually do not stay still long enough to actually let you snap a shot!
I have no idea what this flower is, but I love it!
Mr. Frog taking a nice muddy bath.
Happy Daddy with pretty baby girl!
Julianna loves the slide now - out of the blue - she became a daredevil by the end of the trip to the park!
Poser
Going down the very super steep "big kids" slide with Daddy.
As soon as she was done, she climbed up and decided to go down ON HER OWN.
Yes she gave Mommy & Daddy a major heart attack!
Julianna decided to share her tire-swing with an older man. (Oyyy!)
This weekend is Julianna's 2nd birthday party - I can't believe she will be 2 years old. I'll be posting a milestone post this week sometime and of course some birthday shots!
What lovely pictures I really love that first shot of Julianna so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCome join in my weekly photo kids party sometime ;)
Thank you - ANd yes I will for sure! I think I joined 2 weeks ago - lots of fun! :)
DeleteWhere did you get married? Happy Birthday to Julianna!
ReplyDeleteKim - we got married at the Farmstead in Lafayette - It is an amazing place for wedding - we had the best day there! 2 people that came to my wedding got married there after us b/c they loved it so much! I was actually going to post some wedding pictures for a 5 yr anniversary post but i never got around to it. Eh - maybe I still will! :)
DeleteI just love Julianna's hair! Do you put product in it yet? I've put moose in Chloe's hair once, but I really have no idea what to do with curly hair. And as always, great pics!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim - Thanks- she does have great hair - I use a leave in cream for her hair - it's not heavy and doesn't get coated or crusty looking after she sleeps on it. This is the stuff I use - http://www.beautycollection.com/Brands/moroccan-oil/Moroccan-Oil-Intense-Curl-Cream It's not cheap but that will last you at least a year - so it's not so bad. I just use a tiny bit after she gets out of the bath and let it air dry. :) (p.s. I used to be a hairdresser, so I knew this was a great produt to use, and I am a believer of spending $$ on hair products as long as they work!)
