After our fabulous Brunch, we went to the small local Zoo called "Space Farms" - Mama's got in for free! We walked around and told Julianna all about each animal that we saw. We also bought a bag of corn to feed the animals, mostly deer-type animals. When we were leaving the zoo, they were feeding the baby animals in the nursery - Oh my gosh that might have been the cutest thing I've seen in a while. That was a great way to end off my Mother's Day.
Julianna looking so pretty hangin' out in her stroller at the zoo.
Mama Goat snuggling with her babies. That just makes me smile!
Great pictures. My daughter Cassidy LOVES Llamas, great picture of him. You can't wait for Julianna to feed the animals? Think of all those germs, LOL JK... Looks like you had fun!
ReplyDeletethose pics are so sweet * * we love "Llama Llama Red Pajama" in our house ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you reposted. I missed this because Blogger is stupid. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. Chloe hasn't been to the zoo yet. Her dad his a zoo snob. Sounds like you have a fabulous first Mother's Day!

I was not happy about Blogger being down either. They finally restored my posts, but not all the comments. At least it's working now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you re-posted this...those zoo pictures are darling!
Carla
Just found you over at NJ Bloggy Moms. I am from Rockaway. I have been to Space Farms many times when my girl were younger. I love where you got married. I have never heard of that place. It looks really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! What did she think of the animals? Nate wasn't as stoked as we thought he'd be on his first zoo visit. Hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteGranthamania - I had to laugh at Zoo snob LOL. Well, Julianna may have been too young to even know the animals were there... Maybe another 6 months she will be into it more. haha.
ReplyDeleteAdrian (working mom) - thanks for stpoping by!! :)
Carla - Yeh I noticed it did not report the comments - bummer - so I know I missed some!
Kimberly - Nice to see you on here neighbor! haha! Not sure if you go to the Frog Falls in Picatinny in the summer, but we will be there (as if you cold pick me out of 500 other people lol) - thanks for following! :)
Amber@Natertot - Thanks - Julianna wasn't really into the animals too much yet. She paid attention to the black bear and a few others but not like I was hoping. We'll try again in the fall when she is older... but either way, we still had fun!
Sorry if I missed anyone with the blogger down thing... I know I had some previous comments on here but can't recall who it was! :(
